About this villa

This is a detached three-bedroom bungalow with its own private pool, set in a beautiful garden well stocked with a variety of colourful flowers and fruit trees. It is only a short walk from the beach and Polis town centre with its shops, banks, restaurants and bars.

This tastefully decorated modern property sleeps six in a double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. The master bedroom has a Super King-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom. The second and third bedrooms have twin beds.

The property has two bathrooms with showers of which one is en-suite. All facilities are on floor level.

The modern, light-filled living-dining area features three patio doors that overlook the pool and vibrant garden. It is furnished to reflect the Mediterranean setting and includes a dining table and six chairs, two sofas and a wall-mounted smart tv with access to a range of satellite channels. Wireless internet connection is available and there are quality music speakers suitable for Bluetooth connection to a device.

The open-plan kitchen adjoins the inside dining area and is fully equipped with a large fridge/freezer, oven, dishwasher, microwave and ample cutlery and crockery for dining - particularly alfresco style! There is a washing machine in the separate utility room.

There are air conditioning units in the lounge, dining area and in each bedroom. In addition, ceiling fans are provided in the bedrooms.

Outside there is ample space to ‘chill’ around the 8m x 4m swimming pool (depths 1m to 1.5m) with sunbeds, parasols and a garden table and chairs. There is a shaded terrace that offers a welcome break from the sun as well as providing somewhere to relax in the evening with a glass of something cool on a comfortable sofa and chairs. A charcoal barbecue is available for al-fresco dining.

There are ten similar privately-owned detached bungalows but this villa differs from the other properties following the recent addition of a covered outside dining area with a wooden ceiling and inset lighting and fan. This not only provides welcome shade during the day but also an attractive, illuminated feature in the evenings for barbecues and for outside eating generally.

There is off-road parking with a covered carport.

The nearest beach is a gentle eight-minute walk away and offers a simple beach bar with the usual beach facilities. For the more energetic, a twenty-minute stroll along the beachside pathway leads to Latchi Marina with its restaurants and bars along with opportunities to take to the water on boat trips, boat hire, diving, sailing and various water sports. Alternatively, Latchi can be reached by car in less than ten minutes from the villa.

Polis Centre, locally called ‘the Square’ is equally close by and can be reached in less than ten minutes on foot from the villa. The entrance to the Square leads to a number of restaurants/tavernas, cafes and bars that offer a variety of local food and fresh fish as well as breakfast, lunch and light daytime snacks. ‘People watching’ in the Square over a coffee or a glass of local beer/wine can be hard to resist. Polis is well served by shops, banks, doctors and pharmacies. There is a large supermarket which stocks most items that would be expected in a typical southern European community, in particular fresh local seasonal fruit and veg. It has its own bakery, deli, butchers, fishmongers and a wide selection of excellent wines and beers, both local and imported.

The villa is ideally located 50 metres off a minor road which is bordered on one side by orange groves and leads to the beach. It is just a short walk from the centre of Polis with an abundance of supermarkets, bars and restaurants catering for both local and international tastes. Polis retains much of its traditional role as the principal town for the region and has a rich history going back centuries which many visitors are keen to explore. Restaurants, tavernas and cafes radiate from its central square providing hospitality for locals and visitors alike and the opportunity to browse shops or enjoy a coffee watching the world pass by.

Whilst the local beach is close by, a stroll along the beachside path leads to Latchi Harbour with its busy marina and well-known fish tavernas serving an array of fresh fish and seafood throughout the day and into the evening when the sunset can be quite stunning. Watching the various activities of the boating fraternity over a drink or lunch can be most entertaining. The Marina is sometimes the setting for wedding receptions/photographs etc and was also the location for filming an episode of the Swedish version of Love Island. Latchi can also be reached in only a few minutes drive from the villa.

Please note: The third bedroom has 2 single beds and one of the beds can stay underneath the other. If only one bed is required, the second bed will not be prepared.

Rates do not include: A refundable security deposit of €300 is payable in advance with the balance payment to cover any damages or breakages at the property.

The villa was fantastic! Fab area near some lovely bars and places to eat. Had all the facilities needed in the villa. Jon the villa manager was great, popped in just to make sure the pool was topped up. And helped us massively when we lost water, he came round and fixed it within 10 minutes. 5 of us were very comfortable within the villa. Looking forward to going back.

We had a lovely holiday in Polis - the villa was beautiful. It was spotlessly clean and the welcome pack was very much appreciated. The owners have thought of absolutely everything to make staying in their wonderful villa a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The pool and outside space around the villa is also amazing. Lots of great restaurants and a few bars nearby in Polis within walking distance and more a short taxi ride away in Latchi. Overall excellent experience and we would highly recommend. Thank you.

This is a beautiful villa within easy reach of nearby beaches and the many excellent restaurants in Polis. The villa is very well equipped and has a lovely pool. The personal message from the owners and generous welcome pack on arrival were also a really nice surprise. Jon, the property manager, is always incredibly helpful whenever the need arises.

Superb villa situated in beautiful countryside with orange and olive groves within view. But also just a 10 minute walk to the centre of the town where we enjoyed the fantastic seafood restaurants and traditional tavernas. The villa itself has a lovely garden of flowers and fruit trees, with excellent shaded outdoor areas for lounging and dining. Thank you, The Villa Group for the quick responses to my queries prior to the trip. This is the 3rd villa we have rented in this area and it is definitely the best. 5*

This is the second time we have used The Villa Group and the customer service offered was excellent. Lisa was very responsive to all emails/queries-nothing was too much trouble. Lisa booked us taxi transfers and car hire. She liaised with the villa owners and couldn't be more helpful. We have just returned from a lovely 11-day stay in this villa. My family had such a brilliant time, and as it was our first time in Cyprus, we were so pleased with our choice of villa, as it is perfectly situated within walking distance of everything we required for a perfect holiday. Polis was exactly like we perceived it from our holiday searches and we felt so at home there from the start. Also the property manager Jon was so welcoming and helpful - a great guy.

Beautiful villa in a very convenient location. The villa was very clean and well equipped with a good sized pool. It is also in a very convenient location, within walking distance of the campsite beach and Polis town centre. Jon, the property manager, was very friendly and extremely helpful on the few occasions we had queries for him. It was our 4th visit to the area of Polis and this was the best villa ever.

Excellent Villa in lovely Polis, a home-from-home beautifully kept villa - so many little extras provide such a warm welcome to the property, a wonderful little find for those who love tranquil Polis and we found that nothing was too much, such a helpful manager. Mooi huis, op rustige maar prima lokatie in Polis. Polis is op 10 minuten lopen te bereiken. Leuke plaats met veel goede restaurants. Villa heeft mooi zwembad, ruim terras, prima ligbedden. Grote pluspunten zijn de lounge en de eethoek ! En Nederlandse TV-zenders (we hebben Ajax kunnen kijken op ESPN :-)). Goed en snel contact met Lisa van the Villa Group. We hebben hier 9 hele fijne dagen gehad.
