This lovely 4 bedroom villa with private pool is located just a minutes drive from central Protaras and the beach. Situated in the popular hillside area of St. Elias, the villa is a great choice for a relaxing family stay in scenic surroundings and all the resort amenities are within easy reach.

Downstairs, the villa features a large open plan living area with comfy sofas and a dining table with seating for 8 persons. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The villa also has full air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. There is also a double bedroom and a W/C on this floor.

Upstairs, the master bedroom has a double bed and en-suite shower room. There are a further 2 twin bedrooms and a family bathroom with a bathtub and an overhead shower.

What's included

Rates include: Electricity consumption per week of up to 300 KWH units, weekly cleaning service (for stays exceeding 13 nights), welcome pack, bed linen and bathroom towels, air conditioning and wireless internet access.

Rates do not include: A refundable security deposit of €300 is payable in advance with the balance payment to cover any damages or breakages at the property. Pool towels are available upon request in advance or locally; the charge is €10 per towel.

Electricity consumption exceeding the 400 KWH allowance is charged at 0.30 Euro Cents per KWH. With considerate usage, it is rare to exceed the electricity allowance; however, the limitations are in place to ensure that guests are conscious of their usage and consider the environmental impact of excessive electricity consumption. Before you arrive at the property a meter reading will be taken for the electricity and a reading upon your departure will be taken. Where applicable, the extra charges will be deducted from the security deposit.

Location

Protaras is a modern resort boasting some of the islands finest beaches. With a shoreline of brilliant blue sea, small sheltered sandy bays and rugged cliffs, both sun worshippers and water sports enthusiasts are catered for.

At the centre of Protaras, it is here right at the heart of the strip where you will find the most well known beach in the area, Fig Tree Bay. With its clear and shallow turquoise sea and fine golden sand, this beach understandably appeals to both visitors and locals alike. Moving away from the main resorts you will discover the delights of picturesque Konnos Bay, the rocky coastline of Cape Greco or quieter more remote swimming spots in the outlying suburbs of Sirena Bay, Ayia Triada and Kapparis. By day Protaras is a sleepy beach resort, coming alive after dark and offering a wide range of friendly restaurants, cosy tavernas, bars and shopping opportunities to suit the whole family.

Ayia Napa located within a 20 minute drive, once a small fishing village was more recently promoted as a clubbers paradise with a varied and vibrant nightlife concentrated in the towns’ central square. Families are rediscovering the delights of the resort by steering away from the square and spending days on the beautiful blue flag beaches and mellow evenings strolling the pedestrianised harbour area and dining at one its selection of cafes and restaurants.

No Visit to Ayia Napa is complete without some time spent at Nissi Beach. It's not only Ayia Napa's biggest daytime hot spot but one of the most popular beaches on the whole island of Cyprus. Everyday from May until October beach parties are held at the Nissi Bay Beach Bar featuring some of Ayia Napa's best known DJ's as well as guest artists and celebrities. Expect special guest appearances, dance contests, foam parties and all kinds of fun.

Take a break from the beaches and occupy your time by exploring the surrounding villages sprinkled with windmills and small churches. Dominating the Protaras area on a solitary rock outcrop is the chapel of the Prophet Elias. A climb of many steps is needed to reach the top of the hill, but worth it as you will be rewarded with an amazing view of the Protaras coastline. As the nearest town to the now deserted settlement of Famagusta, Deryneia is possibly best known for its view of the ghost town, which, once a major tourist resort, now lies empty.

Family activities in the area include the magic dancing water show with its spectacular 12 metre high fountains “dancing” to Mozart, Beethoven, Bach and Greek music, visiting the open air sculpture park and a variety of boat trips including the exciting Black Pearl Pirate Ship. Ayia Napa boasts the biggest themed water park in Europe with exhilarating rides providing fun and entertainment for all age groups.

Outdoor activities in the area include mini golf, water-sports, go-karting, horse riding and hiking or cycling along the network of nature trails and specialist cycle paths through the Cape Greco National Park (which is located within a 10 minute drive). My wife and and I booked this holiday for our family whilst visiting Cyprus for a wedding. We were worried at first that it was a little far from the resort but in the end we loved the location. It took about 12 minutes to walk down to the centre, a little more on the way back as it's located on a hill. it was also very easy and quick to get a taxi back late at night. Everything was very close by and the beaches in Protaras were just amazing.
The villa was so spacious inside and the garden area was lovely and private. We'd definitely visit again.

Our family had a great time at this villa. We loved the location as we were close to the resort but far enough away not to be affected by any noise in the evening. The garden and pool area was fabulous for the children, with plenty of space for sunbathing. We would definitely recommend for a family holiday. Thanks for a lovely stay !
